چکیده
This paper is a comparative study of the elite capture in Pakistan and developmental structure South Korea. The seeks to examine: why does Pakistani state remain captured by social actors, despite similar post-colonial geopolitical trajectories Korea, failing set up transform into an Asian tiger? On other hand, Korea was able become achieved high rates economic growth, uplifting living standards vast majority its population. It identifies conflicting interest as twin independent variables explaining divergent (outcome) dependent variable predatory Pakistan. refutes neoliberal school thought that attributes success East Tigers market forces rather than role state. aligns itself with theory neo-statist approach emphasizing on intervention explain phenomenon miracle likewise, failure achieve levels socioeconomic growth.

Nonlocality and conflicting interest games.
Nonlocality enables two parties to win specific games with probabilities strictly higher than allowed by any classical theory. Nevertheless, all known such examples consider games where the two parties have a common interest, since they jointly win or lose the game. The main question we ask here is whether the nonlocal feature of quantum mechanics can offer an advantage in a scenario where the ...
متن کاملQuantum advice enhances social optimality in three-party conflicting interest games
Quantum pseudo-telepathy games are good examples of explaining the strangeness of quantum mechanics and demonstrating the advantage of quantum resources over classical resources. Most of the quantum pseudo-telepathy games are common interest games, nevertheless conflicting interest games are more widely used to model real world situations. Recently Pappa et al. (Phys. Rev. Lett. 114, 020401, 20...
متن کاملStrong quantum solutions in conflicting-interest Bayesian games
Quantum entanglement has been recently demonstrated as a useful resource in conflicting interest games of incomplete information between two players, Alice and Bob [Pappa et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 114, 020401 (2015)]. General setting for such games is that of correlated strategies where the correlation between competing players is established through a trusted common adviser; however, players ne...
متن کاملThe Practical Use of ESRL For Conflicting Interest Games
In this paper we tested the practical use of an existing learning algorithm, called Exploring Selfish Reinforcement Learning (ESRL), on conflicting interest games. This algorithm is based on the principles of learning automata and, for games where agents have conflicting interests, on a Homo egualis society. Furthermore we propose some variations on the exploration heuristic of the algorithm an...
متن کاملSelf efficacy, social acceptance and locus of control as predictors of social interest among Iranian students
Social interest is human phenomenon which can be considered as structure of personality in psychology. This descriptive correlation study aimed to investigate self efficacy, social acceptance and locus of control as predictors of social interest. This was correlational study. The sample consisted of 153 boys and 147 girls who were studying at private middle schools. Multistage cluster sampling ...
